Zoom My very real pre-and-postpartum journey. I really feel like women feel too much pressure to have the most perfect body after giving birth, especially in this society, when they should be able to rest and recover in peace and enjoy the tiny human they just created and fought in labor to deliver. I loved when Kate Middleton stepped out the next day after labor with her stomach still out it was refreshing to see someone in the public eye not hiding for once. I was hesitant to post this up cause I personally hate how my stomach looks but that would be me giving in to society. The first left column is the front view of my stomach before, 9 months along, and today (5 months postpartum). The next two columns are the side view. Going down and ending at the bottom right corner: before I got pregnant, 9 months along, one week postpartum, one month postpartum, 3 months postpartum, and today. I’ve only been able to breast feed exclusively and haven’t had a chance to work out for myself other than carrying my little one everywhere I go. My stomach could be tighter and I could have less stretch marks but I grew a tiny human inside my body and am very proud of that. My results are from maintaining a very healthy lifestyle before, a healthy diet before, during my pregnancy and now, and the biggest thing: breastfeeding my daughter exclusively. It’s been quite a journey. πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ‘Ά #norush #transformationtuesday #postpartum #healthylifestyle #healthydiet #mommy #mom #beforeandafter
